European Cypress Evergreen Bonsai Tree (Chamaecypari Lawsoniana 'Ellwoodii')
The European Cypress, a splendid outdoor tree, thrives either alone or in clusters. Originating from the northern Mediterranean region, this bonsai is versatile enough to endure temporary indoor periods. This makes it an excellent choice for a bonsai Christmas tree in December, before returning it outdoors for the rest of the year.
Its fine green/gray/blue foliage grows in flattened sprays, adding to its unique charm. An added bonus is the 'cool-looking' tiny elongated brown cones that grow throughout the year, a feature that's somewhat rare in bonsai.
At approximately 7 years old and standing 14" - 15" tall, this bonsai has been carefully grown and trained.
A suitable humidity/drip tray is recommended for optimal growth and can be added at a small additional cost.
