The Whitebarked Himalayan Birch Bonsai Tree is a unique spectacle with the brightest white bark among all birch trees. Its toothy, tapered, dark green leaves transform into a vibrant yellow in the fall, creating a stunning visual contrast. In the spring, the tree is adorned with showy catkins that add to its charm. At 10 years old and standing 18-19" tall, this bonsai tree has been carefully grown and trained. A suitable humidity/drip tray is recommended for optimal growth and can be added at a small additional cost.
During late summer (August), the tree may be shipped with mature, turning, and transitioning foliage as it prepares for dormancy. This is a normal, annual process. During autumn and winter, the tree may be shipped with no foliage. However, come early Spring, the tree will emerge from dormancy and re-grow its foliage.
