Trident Maple Bonsai Tree (Acer Buergerianum)

Trident Maple Bonsai Tree (Acer Buergerianum)

The Trident Maple Bonsai Tree is celebrated for the stunning hues of its foliage during the fall season. Its bark, a mottled pale brown, peels off over time to reveal a captivating grey, orange, and brown color palette. The tree's small leaves, which are resistant to scorching during droughts, feature three closely set lobes, giving it the name 'Tri-dent'. The spring flowers are subtle, and the new growth often takes on a bronze to purple shade. This deciduous tree is best kept outdoors and is available all year round, although it will be without foliage during the winter months.

This outdoor bonsai tree, aged 15 years and standing 10" - 12" tall, has been carefully grown and trained. It's recommended to pair it with a suitable humidity/drip tray, available at a small additional cost.

During late summer (August), the tree may be shipped with mature, transitioning foliage as it prepares for dormancy. It may also be shipped without foliage during autumn and winter. However, come early spring, the tree will break from dormancy and regrow its foliage.
