Japanese Red Maple Bonsai Tree (Shindeshojo)
The Japanese Red Maple Bonsai Tree, known as 'Shindeshojo', is celebrated for its stunning Crimson Red Spring foliage, the most vibrant among all Japanese Maples. This captivating color lasts for about a month before subtly transitioning to a reddish-green, and eventually a lush green by summer. As autumn approaches, the leaves transform again, this time into intriguing shades of red and orange.
With a reddish-brown bark, this 42-year-old tree stands 23" x 31" x 35" tall. It's a deciduous variety, meaning it will shed its leaves during winter months, offering a different kind of beauty. This tree is best kept outdoors to thrive.
The tree is meticulously grown and trained, and comes potted in a 17" brown rectangle mica container. For optimal care, a suitable humidity/drip tray is recommended, which can be added at an additional cost. Please note that during autumn and winter, the tree may be shipped without foliage.
