Japanese Maple Bonsai Tree (Acer Palmatum 'Kogane Sakae')

The Japanese Maple Bonsai Tree, Acer Palmatum 'Kogane Sakae', is a unique specimen known for its distinctive light green bark with yellow streaks running vertically up the stalks of both old and new branches. The name 'Kogane Sakae' translates to golden prosperity, reflecting the tree's vibrant appeal. Being deciduous, it is best kept outdoors.

At 51 years old, this bonsai tree stands 30" x 32" x 33" tall. It has been meticulously grown and trained to achieve its current form. The tree is housed in a 15" brown rectangle mica container. For optimal growth, a suitable humidity/drip tray is recommended, available at a small additional cost.

During late summer (August), the tree may be shipped with mature, transitioning foliage as it prepares for dormancy. In autumn and winter, it may be shipped without foliage. However, come early Spring, the tree will emerge from dormancy and regrow its foliage, ready to impress once again.
