Japanese Green Maple Bonsai Tree (acer palmatum 'Mikawa Yatsubusa')

Japanese Green Maple Bonsai Tree (acer palmatum 'Mikawa Yatsubusa')

This Japanese Green Maple Bonsai Tree, a grafted multi-branched and compact cultivar, boasts green leaves that grow closely together, overlapping like roof shingles to create a dense leaf cover on a nearly spherical form. When fall arrives, the leaves turn a brilliant fiery red for a dramatic display, making it an ideal bonsai tree specimen.

Known for its hardiness and ease of growth, this delicate Maple is a perfect addition to any patio, deck, or garden. It thrives in sunlight, showing off its best colors in early spring and late into the season. As a deciduous tree, it is best kept outdoors.

At 38 years old and measuring 18" x 22" x 23" tall, this bonsai tree has been carefully grown and trained. It is potted in a 12" brown rectangle mica container. A suitable humidity/drip tray is recommended and can be added at a small additional cost.

During late summer (August), the tree may be shipped with mature, turning, and transitioning foliage as it prepares for dormancy. It may also be shipped with no foliage during autumn and winter, but rest assured, the tree will emerge from dormancy and re-grow foliage in early Spring.
