Ginseng Ficus Bonsai Tree (ficus retusa)

Ginseng Ficus Bonsai Tree (ficus retusa)

The Ginseng Ficus Bonsai Tree, also known as Banyan Fig and Taiwan Ficus, is a sight to behold with its small dark green leaves that alternate up the stem in a more oval shape than the Benjamina. Its grey to reddish bark is dotted with small horizontal flecks, creating a pattern reminiscent of tiger-like markings. The tree's most striking feature is its heavy exposed bulbous roots.

This bonsai tree is 21 years old and measures 14" x 15" x 25" tall. It is among the most tolerant, versatile, and trouble-free bonsai trees, making it perfect for indoor use.

Expertly grown and trained, this bonsai tree comes potted in a 12" brown rectangle mica container. A suitable humidity/drip tray is recommended and can be added at a small additional cost.
