Flowering Water Jasmine Large Bonsai Tree (Wrightia Religiosa)

The Water Jasmine, also known as Wrightia Religiosa, is a popular choice for bonsai enthusiasts in Malaysia. This tree is commonly used as a hedge in Southeast Asian countries due to its twiggy nature and medicinal properties. The Water Jasmine thrives in heat and enjoys plenty of direct sunlight. In cooler climates, it may become semi-deciduous if temperatures drop below 65 degrees Fahrenheit.

Its flowers are a beautiful white, hang pendulously, and fill any room with a delightful fragrance. Following pollination by insects, the tree produces long, green, bean-like seed pods.

This particular specimen is 15 years old and stands 21" tall. It is a recommended flowering indoor bonsai tree that has been carefully grown and trained.

A suitable humidity/drip tray is recommended for optimal growth and can be added at a small additional cost.
