Flowering Sweet Plum Bonsai Tree with Curved Trunk & Exposed Root Style (Sageretia Theezans)
A tropical evergreen tree, native to China, this Sweet Plum Bonsai Tree is a sight to behold. It boasts small, green leaves that are lightly veined and turn almost bronze when they first emerge. The Sageretia tree is known for shedding its bark, revealing a multi-colored trunk. In spring, small pink-white flowers bloom, which give way to small black fruits during the summer and into autumn, making it a popular choice for indoor bonsai.
This bonsai is 34 years old and measures 14" x 14" x 21" tall. It has been carefully grown and trained to achieve its unique curved trunk and exposed root style.
The bonsai is potted in a 14" brown oval mica container. A suitable humidity/drip tray is recommended and can be added at a small additional cost.
