Flowering Podocarpus Bonsai Tree with Curved Trunk Style
The Flowering Podocarpus, also known as Buddhist Pine or Chinese Yew, is a lush evergreen tree with pointed, leathery, dark green leaves beautifully arranged on stiff, symmetrical branches. This unisexual tree features male flowers in cones and female flowers with cylindrical thickened scales. The tree produces edible, pendiculate, fleshy, and brightly colored fruits. The new foliage emerges in a light green hue that darkens as it matures.
At 64 years old and standing 30" tall, this bonsai tree is trained in the traditional style, boasting a curved trunk and tiered branches. Despite its slow growth rate, it thrives well indoors.
This indoor flowering bonsai tree has been carefully grown and trained. It's potted in a 13" brown round drum mica container. A suitable humidity/drip tray is recommended and can be added at a small additional cost.
