Flowering Podocarpus Bonsai Tree with Curved Trunk Style
The Podocarpus, also known as Buddhist Pine or Chinese Yew, is a dense evergreen that boasts pointed, leathery, dark green leaves arranged on stiff, symmetrical branches. This unisexual tree features male flowers in cones and female flowers composed of cylindrical thickened scales. The fruits are not only edible but also pendiculate, fleshy, and brightly colored. The new foliage emerges in a light green hue that darkens with age.
This particular bonsai tree is trained in the traditional style, showcasing a curved trunk and tiered branches. Despite its slow growth rate, it thrives well indoors.
At 17 years old and measuring 18" x 18" x 21" tall, this indoor flowering bonsai tree has been carefully grown and trained. It comes potted in an 8" black rectangle ceramic container. A suitable humidity/drip tray is recommended and can be added at a small additional cost.
