The Flowering Podocarpus Bonsai Tree, also known as Buddhist Pine or Chinese Yew, is a dense evergreen that boasts pointed, leathery, dark green leaves arranged on stiff, symmetrical branches. This unisexual tree features male flowers in cones and female flowers composed of cylindrical thickened scales. The fruits are edible, pendiculate, fleshy, and brightly colored.

New foliage emerges in a light green hue that darkens with age. This particular tree is trained in the traditional bonsai style, showcasing a curved trunk and tiered branches. It grows very well, albeit slowly, indoors.

At 23 years old and measuring 11" x 14" x 16" tall, this indoor flowering bonsai tree has been grown and trained with care. It comes potted in an 8" Aztec Orange lotus-shaped ceramic container with an attached humidity/drip tray. An additional tray can be purchased at a small extra cost.
