Crimson Queen Japanese Maple Bonsai Tree (Acer palmatum var dissectum 'Crimson Queen')
This Crimson Queen Japanese Maple Bonsai Tree is a low-branching, dwarf variety that boasts a delicate, weeping form. Its foliage maintains a stunning crimson hue throughout the summer, which can transition to a bright scarlet in the autumn. This tree is sun-tolerant in cooler regions, where sunlight enhances the color of the foliage. Being deciduous, it is best kept outdoors.
At 24 years old and approximately 20-21" tall, this bonsai tree has been carefully grown and trained. A suitable humidity/drip tray is recommended for optimal care, which can be added at a small additional cost.
During late summer (August), the tree may be shipped with mature, turning, and transitioning foliage as it prepares for dormancy. It may also be shipped with no foliage during autumn and winter. However, the tree will emerge from dormancy and re-grow its foliage in early Spring.
