Bald Cypress Bonsai Tree with Exposed Roots (taxodium distichum)
The Bald Cypress Bonsai Tree, native to many areas of Florida and Louisiana, is a unique specimen that can flourish even in water. This tree is recognized as the official tree of Louisiana. Its bark is characterized by a reddish-brown hue, fibrous texture, small flat ridges, and shallow furrows.
The leaves of this bonsai tree are deciduous, spreading in flat planes in a feathery pattern on its branchlets. This 19-year-old tree, standing 27" tall, is a perfect addition to your outdoor space.
It has been carefully grown and trained, and is potted in a 14" brown oval mica container. To enhance its growth, a suitable humidity/drip tray is recommended, available at a small additional cost.
Please note that during autumn and winter, the tree may be shipped with no foliage.
