Baby Jade Bonsai Tree Stone Landscape Scene (Portulacaria Afra)
This unique arrangement features imported rocks that have been washed in acid for a strikingly distinctive look. These rocks are carefully cut and cemented to one side of the pot, creating a generous well on the opposite side to hold water. A ceramic bridge connects the rocks, and a pagoda figurine adds a touch of charm, cemented to the stone above the bridge. To complete the scene, a miniature, glazed, mud figurine fisherman overlooks the water, complete with a fishing pole and fish.
On the other side of this peaceful scene, the Baby Jade plant has been chosen for planting. This succulent bonsai, also known as the 'Elephant Bush', hails from South Africa and features pale green leaves that are almost round and about one-third the size of the common Jade plant. The fleshy trunk, branches, and leaves serve as water storage.
This bonsai tree, which is 7 years old and stands 10" tall, makes an excellent indoor plant, perfect for adding a touch of tranquility to your home or office. It comes potted in an 8" green oval container. A suitable humidity/drip tray is recommended and can be added at a small additional cost.
